Generous rebates are available to offset the cost of your tank and installation. We’ll plan your system to take advantage of the rebates and complete the paperwork for you ready to submit.

SA Water rebates – Up to $1000

Up to $200 for a new rainwater tank with a capacity of 1000 litres or more. There is no requirement for the tank to be plumbed and it can be used for garden only.

$200 for the purchase of a new or replacement rainwater tank which needs to be plumbed for use to either a toilet or all cold water laundry outlets or hot water service.

Up to $600 for plumbing services to connect rainwater to either a toilet or all cold water laundry outlets or hot water service.

Up to another $200 extra for additional installation measures, including auto switching pumps or connecting to an additional eligible point in the home.

Federal Government rebates – Up to $500

Up to $500 is available for the purchase and installation of a new rainwater tank which is connected for internal reuse of the water for toilet and/or laundry use.

Tanks with a capacity of 2000-3999 litres receive $400 and tanks with capacities greater than 4000 litres receive $500. Full details are available from the Government’s environment website here.
